Richard | Barren Awakening - FinishedGreat Climb - unfortunately more a summer climb due to streaking. All bolts fixe P's replaced as per original climb. Strong moves past 4 bolts to wire/cam placement - past another 4 before another wire and 2 more to finish. 10 bolts and 2 Fixe P loweroffs. Have been told Joel Booth freed in late 90's at a grade of 25/26. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks again to Nick my Wingman. |

Thanks Shane, but let us not forget all the people who have been involved in re-bolting and funded the re-bolting (see www.chockstone.org/Rebolting/RoutesWA.asp). As well - all the first accentists who put the routes up in the first place. Bad bolts or not they still inspired the climbing here in Perth.

Yes you are right mate, I did forget them. Aplogies and lots of beer also to the many who have contributed in whichever manner they have.

Hey Richard, good to see you out on the weekend and thanks for rebolting barren awakening. The grade could go either way but i think giving it 25 keeps things solid. Better earning a solid 25 than getting a gimmie 26!
