tom | new bolting in aczhi i have a question for the guy/s putting in the bolts, at peak head essentially... will any of the lines (planned, not current)affect the old trad lines, ie, provide more options to escape off them, therefore lowering the committment/boldness required - an awesome feature of these routes? cheers tom |

Hey Tom,
From just one of the people involved with some of the new routes, none of the existing routes on Peak Head have been effected from the new bolted and mixed lines put up to date.
A hell of a lot of care was put in to make sure that none of the bolts on the south face can even be seen from albatros and no retro bolting has taken place thus far.
The aim was to complement the already existing atmosphere and style of the area, not change it.
From a non-biased point of view, they are definitely worth a look.
Rich.
